Nithin Sadhu is a Bangalore based artist who works with various mediums such as tape , light and glass to create interactive artworks and installations. His passion for art goes back to when he was 15 years old when he first started sketching and wanting to become a tattoo artist. Soon after completing his diploma in Interior design , he went on to work as a sound engineer at a friends studio. His discovery of brown packing tape as a medium to create art was what inspired him to get back to becoming a full time artist. After completing his art residency program in Berlin in 2019, he started using more colour tapes in his work . His most recent works are interactive light installations, Colour reflective and infinity mirrors that are a combination of layered glass with programmed lights. His current series of works involves collaboration with other local artists working with different mediums to create functional art installations and products.
